With your projects, is it only too late that the solution is not working or that the end product does not satisfy the users? Do your stakeholders often ask you how the project is progressing or would you like to be more involved? Are you struggling with constant amendments? Would you like to receive a usable product even in the event of an early project end? Scrum offers a new solution perspective in these and many other situations!
Scrum is a simple framework for organizing work in project teams, in which ready-to-use sub-products are continuously completed. Scrum is based on:
In this way, complex projects can be implemented step by step, while at the same time ensuring a high level of transparency of development progress. The framework can be individually adapted to the needs of a project and the environment. A Scrum Master takes care of general tasks in a project, such as project preparation and organization, and is responsible for ensuring that processes are followed. He supports the development of the team and removes obstacles so that team members can concentrate on their actual task, developing the product. The Scrum Master has a leadership role without authority to issue instructions. He lives the “Servant Leadership” approach and thus subordinates himself to the team or the cause like a good host who cares about the well-being of his guests, but at the same time also sets the framework and rules. Other day-to-day tasks include: conducting retrospectives with the entire team and in individual discussions, establishing team rules and ensuring compliance with them, identifying and moderating conflicts, and establishing acceptance of the process throughout the company.
In our training courses, we teach tried and tested methods that help to successfully introduce Scrum in the organization, support the product owner in his daily work and strengthen self-organization in the development team.
In addition to theoretical input, it is primarily about learning and practicing best practices in the areas of planning, estimation, monitoring and scaling. In this way, you will learn how to safely apply Scrum theory in the context of complex project environments using a continuous case study.
In our two-day training, you will be fully prepared for your role as a Scrum Master.
