The 2-day “ITIL® 4 Foundation” seminar introduces you to the latest ITIL® version. We will provide you with a sound overview of ITIL® terminologies and the ITIL® 4 practices, roles and functions and familiarise you with the Service Value system. You will also find out how to implement customer and service orientation permanently in your department. In addition to the most important basic and key concepts you will discover the advantages of introducing ITIL® practices using diverse practical examples and how to successfully overcome possible obstacles.

Please note that even if the training is in German the training documentation used will be in English as the certification examination is currently only available in English.

The training will prepare you optimally for the ITIL® 4 Foundation examination, which will be held at the end of the second day of the course.

This seminar is implemented according to the current Axelos (ITIL® 4) curriculum.

Requirements:

  • No prior knowledge is required to attend an ITIL® Foundation training.

Certification

ITIL® 4 Foundation Certificate

The ITIL® Foundation examination is held after the seminar. This is a multiple-choice examination with 40 questions which must be answered in 60 minutes. To earn the certificate you must answer 26 of 40 questions correctly, thus 65%.

If you pass the ITIL® Foundation examination you will receive 2 credits and the ITIL® 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, which is a requirement for further training within the ITIL® 4 curriculum.

Candidates who sit the examination in a language which is not their mother tongue or candidates with special requirements (e.g. health restrictions) are entitled to an extended examination time. Please inform us if we should apply for an extended examination time for you when you register.
